This soil test detects harmful pesticides that may be lingering unnoticed. This contamination is not only harmful for the outdoor environment of your home, but may also result in polluting your drinking water.
Pesticides are often used to kill unwanted plants, such as weeds in our yards and gardens. Although this is helpful in the short term, it can be harmful to our bodies. These pollutants enter the body through direct contact with our skin, inhalation, or consumption. Acute exposure can cause headaches, nausea and dizziness. However, the symptoms don't stop there.

Individuals who directly apply pesticides in their yards are at the most risk for exposure.
If it is, one of our certified sample technicians will come directly to your home to retrieve a sample. From there, it will be delivered to the lab for various testing following EPA Method 8081B.
Laboratory equipment will include the Gas Chromatograph coupled with an Electron Capture Detector. This instrument will accurately detect these harmful pollutants at the lowest possible detection levels.
